Aloha Burger/Chicken Sandwich from Times Grill


8 oz. Ground Hamburger Meat (80/20 or similar)/chicken breast
2 Grilled Pineapple Rings
2 oz. Cheddar Cheese, melted
1, 5" Hamburger Bun
To Taste: Creole Seasoning, Teriyaki Sauce


  • Before grilling, season both sides of the hamburger/chicken breast with Creole seasoning.
  • Clean and lightly oil the grill before cooking.
  • Form hamburger patty to 5" across/filet chicken breast
  • Heat grill to minimum 400 degrees temperature.
  • Grill burger to desired temperature. Tip: USDA recommends using a food thermometer and cooking the hamburger to a 160 degree internal temperature.
  • Grill Chicken breast until fully cooked(165 degrees  minimum)
  • Cover burger/chicken breast with teriyaki sauce
  • Top burger/chicken breast with melted cheddar cheese and grilled pineapple rings
  • Toast bun on grill or toaster oven.
  • Dress the top of the bun with lettuce, tomato, or pickle if desired
  • Serve with a side of your choice.
