Shrimp Tequila Cream from Fernando's


1 and 1/2 dozen large shrimp
1/2 cup butter


1/4 cup butter2 tsp flour
2 cups of shrimp stock
1 cup of sour cream
1/4 shot white tequila


  • Melt the butter
  • Add the flour slowly and stir well
  • Add the shrimp stock slowly until the mixture becomes thick
  • Lower the fire and add the sour cream, verify the flavor and add the tequila
  • Fry the shrimp with butter until fully cooked
  • Serve it on a bed of Mexican rice and add the tequila cream on top of the shrimp.
  • To garnish, use cilantro leaves.
