Odyssey HealthCare Hospice CNA's also known as Home Health Aides, have a unique role in providing personal care and support.

The holistic nature of hospice includes meeting personal needs while always treating people with dignity and respect ensuring patient choice in the delivery of care.  This hands-on approach is key in keeping the patient clean and comfortable while massage, hair styling and make up add a personal touch.

Light housekeeping is another service offered to keep the home environment clean when patients and caregivers are unable to do so.  Because quality of life is the ultimate hospice goal, our CNA's act as another set of eyes and ears reinforcing an appropriate plan of care.  Odyssey CNA's are either nationally board certified in hospice and palliative care or in the process of earning this additional designation.
