Cheesy Artichoke Squares from Dillon's

INGREDIENTS

2 6oz marinated artichoke hearts
1/2 onion    chopped finely
1 garlic clove  minced
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup   bread crumbs
1/4  Tsp salt
1/8 Tsp oregano
1/8 Tsp black pepper
Dash or 2 of hot sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbls chopped parsley

PROCEDURE

  • Atichoke hearts, reserve one jar of marinade.  Chop artichokes.
  • In saute pan heat marinade, add onions and garlic and saute until onions are translucent, set aside to cool.
  • Once cooled, add beaten eggs, all the spices to onion mixture.
  • Mix well, then add bread crumbs, artichokes and cheese. Mix well
  • Pour into a well greased 9x11 baking pan or casserole dish
  • Bake aty325 degrees for 30 minutes.  Allow to cook 15 minutes and cut into squares.
