INGREDIENTS
8 oz. Ground Hamburger Meat (80/20 or similar)
1 oz. Shredded Lettuce
1 Slice Tomato
3 Pickle Chips
2 slices Provolone Cheese
2 oz. Marinara Sauce
1 5" Hamburger Bun
2 oz. Sliced Ham
To Taste: Creole Seasoning
Sprinkle to taste: Parmesan cheese
PROCEDURE
- Before grilling, season both sides of the hamburger with Creole seasoning.
- Clean and lightly oil the grill before cooking.
- Form hamburger patties to 5" across.
- Heat grill to minimum 400° temperature.
- Grill burger to desired temperature. Tip: USDA recommends using a food thermometer and cooking the hamburger to a 160 degree internal temperature.
- Toast bun on grill or toaster oven.
- Place the hamburger on the bottom bun and top with the ham, marinara, provolone slices and parmesan cheese.
- Dress the top of the bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle and condiments.
- Serve with a side of your choice.
