Road Home Discussion Ongoing in Senate Subcommittee

It's no secret that Louisiana's Road Home program is facing a $3 billion shortfall. The question is: What can be done about it?

Thursday, U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu is bringing the issue up before a Senate subcommittee.

Frank Trapani of the New Orleans Realtors Association plans to testify before the panel. He describes the Road Home program as the state's second disaster.

He says even when people finally get their grants, homeowners are faced with outrageous insurance premiums.

He says congress must step in now, or there won't be a home at the end of the road.
