INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 cup minced yellow onion
1 tbsp. minced garlic cloves
2 lg. cans Angela Mia crushed tomatoes
½ tbsp. salt
½ tbsp. Tony's seasoning
½ tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. Italian Spice
2 cups water
1 pt. heavy cream
1 tbsp. chopped Italian parsley
1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
PROCEDURE
- Heat oil in saucepan, add onion and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Add canned tomatoes, salt, Tony's, sugar, Italian spice and water. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
- Add pint heavy cream and remove from heat.
- Add parsley and basil and serve.
