Corn and Crab Bisque

Corn and Crab Bisque


1/2 lb Butter

1 Large Onion diced

1 Green Bell Pepper diced

1 Red Bell Pepper diced

1 tblspoon crab base

1/2 cup flour

2 cups water

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp black pepper

2 tsp granulated garlic

1 tblspoon Ton'ys Creole Seasoning

1/4 cup sugar

1 qt heavy whipping cream

1-12 oz can whole kernel corn

1-12 oz can cream corn

1 lb crab meat


Sautee diced veggies in butter until tender.  Add crab base and mix well. Add flour to make a blonde roux. Once all is mixed well add water and seasonings. Whisk together . Add heavy cream and whisk. Add corn and mix together until well blended. Stir in crab meat and heat through.
