All Star Automotive Group challenges every business in the Greater Baton Rouge area to make a donation to the Elephant Oasis Project.
St. Gerard School is in the lead!
Students there have been working hard to collect as many pennies as they can carry. They recently made a deposit of $403.64 to the Elephant Oasis account--the largest amount donated by any school so far. Way to go, St. Gerard!!!!
Calling All third graders!!!
The third grad classes at Jefferson Terrace Elementary are putting out a challenge to all other third grades to match or beat the $300 they collected and donated at All Star Prairieville on November 10th. (They were very thoughtful and rolled the pennies for us!)
Walker Elementary has its own elephant!
The whole school is enjoying feeding "Ellie", the precious little baby elephant they made from papier maché, metal drum and cans. She's enjoying all the tasty pennies, nickels, quarters and dimes everyone is feeding her. Where is your school's elephant?
St. Francis Xavier School has donation cans in every classroom. They're well on their way to being filled. Does your school have free donation cans from WAFB?
Pack 37 began collecting pennies at the end of October. They challenge other packs to catch up with them.
Holiday Helpers of Baton Rouge is challenging other organizations and businesses to take part in the Elephant Oasis Project. Please consider a match to their $300 donation.
