Oh, How Sweet It Is Sweet Wings: Not Hot

Prep Time:  10 minutes

Cook Time:  8 minutes

Yield:  3 lbs of crispy wings

Ingredients:

3 lbs FRESH Chicken Wings

1 16 oz. jar Cajun Injector® Teriyaki & Honey Fat Free Marinade or

Honey Bacon BBQ Fat Free Marinade with Injector

1 pkg Cajun Injector® Chicken Fry Mix (optional if fried)

Git ‘er done:

Start charcoal fire on grill, PUSHED TO ONE SIDE, not in the center of your grill.

Wash chicken wings, dry off, and cut wings at joints so that you have a SMALL DRUMSTICK and A WING (throw away wingtip).

Pour 8 oz. Cajun Injector® Teriyaki & Honey Fat Free Marinade or Honey Bacon BBQ Fat Free Marinade into clean glass, fill inject from that glass and inject drumstick and wing until full.

Sprinkle Cajun Injector Cajun Shake liberally over wings and drumsticks if you want a sweet and spicy taste.  If you want just a sweet wing, leave the Shake off.

Grill:

When coals are white hot, push coals to one side of grill.  Sear wings and drumsticks over hot coals - DON'T BURN!  Move wings and drumsticks to the other side of grill off direct heat of coals.  Close lid of grill and let cook/smoke for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how hot fire is and how big grill is.  Make sure meat is not pink closest to the bone.

Fry:

Batter according to the directions on the Cajun Injector Chicken Fry Mix and fry in Cajun Injector Cottonseed Oil, if available, at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown.  Remove and cool, i.e. slap them hands so lips don't get burned!

Use remaining Teriyaki & Honey Fat Free Marinade or Honey Bacon BBQ Fat Free Marinade as dipping sauce.  The Cook samples and if done, he shouts, "Sooooooo-eeeeeee!  Aw, man, dat's some kinda good Cajun Injector, cher!" to signal the wings and drumsticks are ready to eat!
