Cook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 8-8 oz (precooked) burgers
Ingredients:
3 lbs ground beef
1 lb ground pork
2 c Italian bread crumbs
2 large eggs
2/3 c Mesquite BBQ Cajun Injector
1 ½ T Cajun Shake
2 tsp garlic powder
1 8oz jar Casa Fiesta Whole Jalapenos
Cajun Injector Chicken Fry
Cajun Injector Cottonseed Oil
Pepper jack Cheese
Hamburger Buns
Method:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients and mix by hand until thoroughly combined. Portion meat into burgers and cook on a charcoal or gas grill. Drain the jalapenos and cut into strips lengthwise and pat dry with a paper towel. Batter according to the directions on the Cajun Injector Chicken Fry Mix and fry in Cajun Injector Cottonseed Oil at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown. Remove and set aside. To serve, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on the burger and top with fried jalapeno strips.
(For those who don't like hot peppers, simply leave off. It's still great!!)
