Culinary Tips for Strawberries Romanoff
• Make sure your strawberries are fresh, in season, and have nice green tops.
• Quarter the strawberries, so they won’t get mushy when mixed with other ingredients.
• You can use sugar substitute in place of the sugar if you have dietary restrictions.
• Orange zest is a small detail that enhances the flavor of Strawberries Romanoff.
• Cointreau is a brandy-base liqueur, flavored with orange peels.
• You can use Grand Marnier or orange juice concentrate to replace the Cointreau, if desired.
• Macerate is a culinary term that means to soften or separate into parts by steeping in a liquid.
