The Williamson Eye Center was founded 50 years ago when William N. "Doc" Williamson began his practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Following his legacy, all four of his sons went into ophthalmology. Over the last half century, the Williamson Eye Center has grown to become one of the largest medical practices in the south, including four offices, a surgery center, a laser center, ten doctors and over 100 employees.
