Berry Cobbler

Enjoy this heartburn-free berry cobbler.


2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp butter, melted
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
2 cups of raspberries (blackberries, cranberries or blueberries can be substituted)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a 9x9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Stir in butter, milk, vanilla and egg.

Stir until smooth. Fold in berries.

Pour into prepared pan, and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until top is firm.
