HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) - Friday night's Sportsline Summer Camp took a look at the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons, which went 6-4 in the regular season.
Their signature win was a 24-20 final against the Amite Warriors in week 10.

After a quarterfinal loss to Newman, STA is back this year and under new leadership, with longtime assistant Randall Legett now the head coach.
The Falcons are predicted to finish second in their district behind the Warriors. The players are getting set for 2018, hoping to improve upon their 7-5 record from last season.
They said it helps that Legett has been around the program and the first-year head coach said this opportunity is one he feels prepared for.
"We're pretty comfortable around him; he's been our assistant coach for several years now, so he's been around us," said senior wide receiver Adam Hetzinger. "We all know him well. He's running the same kind of offense as last year. A few different [are] things, but other than that, we all like him here."
"It's a process; you learn little-by-little, but for the most part, I feel I'm ready and prepared," added Legett. "I feel like God gave me this opportunity and I'm just ready to take advantage of it."
