CENTREVILLE, MS (WAFB) - Sportsline Summer Camp stop No. 52 took us to Centreville Academy.
There's definitely excitement in the air with the Tigers coming off a 10-3 season with 15 starters back and the goal of going farther this year. Bill Hurst is entering his 45th season at the school that includes the last 40 on the sidelines as the Tigers' head coach.

Hurst said this year's team is faster than most on offense at both skill positions and with smaller linemen. And, that speed was also evident on defense with Colby Welch and Devon Parrish flying around in the jamboree.
These guys are hungry after missing out on a trip to the state title game.
"We had the team to do it last year and that put a sour taste in our mouth," said senior running back Tyler Brabham. "So, we're definitely coming this year harder. We worked hard in the off-season. We've really come together as a team this year and probably have the best team chemistry we've had in a while. And, I think we've got the athletic ability. We don't have a lot of size, but we've got a lot of speed."
"We won state in track last year and we've got all those kids back, except one kid that ran on that track team," added Hurst. "I think we've got a good bit of speed and our offensive and defensive line is stronger than it was last year, just not as big as they were last year, but they're stronger."
"I don't think we're going to do as much lining up and running over people this year. We're going to do a lot more passing, spreading the field with our speed," Brabham explained.
