BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - New Orleans bounce music icon, Big Freedia, will hit the stage for a music and arts festival in Baton Rouge.
The hip-hop artist is set to headline the 2nd Annual Bloom Music and Arts Festival on October 6.
In addition to Big Freedia, festival-goers can see performances from other musicians, such as Neutral Snap, MadeGroceries, Justin Gerner, and Luna Loxx.

Food and local art vendors will also take part in the festival. The event will be hosted on the River Road levee from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Bloom is an effort that works to create a space of diversity, equality, and unity through music arts and Louisiana culture.
Jarvis Antwine II and Waid McDaniel founded the festival in 2017 as a way to help bring economic growth to the city through entertainment and art.
