Authorities responded to the scene of a crash in which a train hit an 18-wheeler Friday.
The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office reports it happened near the intersection of LA 69 (Bowie Street) and LA 1 in White Castle.
The White Castle Police Department is handling the investigation into the crash and Louisiana State Police is assisting.
There are no reported injuries.
The tanker part of the big rig is not leaking, according to the sheriff's office. It's carrying butane. The truck is leaking some diesel.
HAZMAT also responded to the scene and decided whether the butane needs to be offloaded to another tanker.
Highway 69 was shut down for nearly 12 hours while crews worked the scene. It reopened around 7 p.m.
