Finally, on Friday, Sportsline Summer Camp stopped off in Clinton to learn one of the keys to East Feliciana's season.
Cedric Anderson is the only head coach East Feliciana has ever had but he put in two years before at the old Clinton High. The Tigers are coming off a 5-5 regular season, finishing 6-6 overall.
All-district running back De'Andre Patin and the Tigers made a nice recovery after starting 0-3 against opponents that eventually made it all the way to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for state championship games. Those teams were West Feliciana, St Helena, and Kentwood.
"This is year nine and we've had nine straight years of playoff runs and have been deep in the playoffs several times - semifinals, quarterfinals, and hopefully, we can continue to play hard, work hard, and execute and keep the fans coming," said Anderson.
