MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WAFB) - Former LSU defensive end Danielle Hunter has signed a big contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings.
Hunter signed a five-year, $72 million extension with the NFC North champions on Wednesday.
The Vikings drafted Hunter in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
In three years with the Vikings, the defensive end has totaled 134 total tackles and 25.5 sacks.
Hunter played three years (2012-2014) at LSU and saw action in 38 games.
He finished with 142 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, eight pass breakups, seven quarterback hurries, and two forced fumbles.
