BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Baton Rouge mall Sunday.

Court documents state Blanca Munoz, 39, of Baton Rouge, is facing a principal to charge in the shooting.

Shots were fired in the parking lot of Dillard's at the Mall at Cortana around 6:30 p.m.

Witnesses inside the store said two groups of people got into an argument while in line and it continued into the parking lot.

According to the probable cause report, several witnesses told investigators Munoz called her husband and was heard telling him to bring a gun. It added that witnesses stated a man matching her husband's description fired shots at the group Munoz was allegedly seen arguing with. The name of the suspected shooter was not released.

Investigators reported Munoz left the scene with her husband, but later returned and a search of the vehicle she was in turned up a gun that had recently been fired and had several rounds missing from the magazine.

There was no one with any injuries at the scene, but police are monitoring hospitals in case possible victims show up.

Munoz was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of principal to aggravated assault with a firearm.

Bond has not been set.

The investigation is ongoing.
