YOUR TURN: Jade Duvaull

YOUR TURN: Jade Duvaull

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Many of you joined us in applauding a 9-year-old student at Central Intermediate School.

For the fifth year in a row, Jade Devaull used her own non-profit to provide blankets for patients at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

Our WAFB Facebook fan, Stacey Guillaumin, has witnessed this young girl's spirit first hand.

Stacey wrote:

My daughter was the recipient of one of these blankets while at OLOL for 2 weeks. It may seem like a small thing but it was such a comfort to her to have something nice and 'normal' during a difficult and scary time. Thank you Jade!

Thanks indeed. It just goes to show how kindness can make such a difference in this world we live in.

That's Stacey's turn. If you'd like to comment on this or anything else, send us an email to yourturn@wafb.com.
