The five-star cornerback prospect from Dunham High School picked LSU over Florida and Texas.
Stingley Jr. finished the 2017 season with 64 tackles, six pass breakups and 11 interceptions for Dunham.
The DB also plans to shut down his recruitment, sign his letter of intent and enroll in December.
Rivals ranks him the No. 1 cornerback in the nation and the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
Stingley Jr. is the No. 1 ranked cornerback in the nation as well by 247Sports.
After the announcement, LSU's 2019 recruiting class moved up to No. 10 in the updated Rivals and 247Sports team rankings.
The new Tiger joins defensive backs Marcus Banks (Houston, TX) and Maurice Hampton (Memphis, TN) in this year's recruiting class.
