ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

St. Martin Parish authorities have arrested three men in connection with a homicide days after a woman's body was found near a levee.

The St. Martin Sheriff's Office reported the victim has been identified as Simone Robin, 19, of St. Martinville.

Deputies said Brandon Boutte, 25, also of St. Martinville; Toby Boutte, 22, of Sunset; and Donald Boutte, 62, of Breaux Bridge; are all facing charges in the investigation.

Deputies from the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office discovered Robin's body Saturday while responding to a call about an ATV crash. The case was passed along to the St. Martin Sheriff's Office because Robin is from St. Martinville.

KATC reported family members were able to identify the body using tattoos and fingerprints.

According to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal reported Robin's home on Bayou Mercier Road in the Catahoula community was set on fire Saturday afternoon. Brandon Boutte was initially arrested by deputy marshals and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on simple arson and unrelated failure to appear charges.

Investigators said Robin's body was found Saturday night. They determined Robin was shot and killed early Thursday morning.

Charges against Brandon Boutte were upgraded to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. His bond is set at $1,050,000.

Toby Boutte is charged with accessory after the fact of second-degree murder. His bond is set at $100,000.

Brandon Boutte and Toby Boutte were booked into the St. Martin Correctional Center on these charges Monday.

After further investigation, a warrant was obtained for Donald Boutte, who authorities reported is Brandon Boutte's grandfather. He was arrested Monday night on charges of accessory after the fact of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. His bond has not been set.

The investigation is ongoing.
