BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man has been arrested for reportedly raping a teenage girl with special needs.
According to the report from the Baton Rouge Police Department, on June 4, the 16-year-old victim told her mother the man, identified as Christopher Baskin, 24, had been touching her inappropriately and had raped her. The victim's mother called police, who later got in contact with Baskin. He reportedly admitted to touching the girl inappropriately.
Police interviewed the victim, who has special needs, at Woman's Hospital. She said Baskin called her into the bathroom and raped her.
Baskin reportedly admitted to touching the girl inappropriately on multiple occasions and to raping her one time. Baskin was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of first degree rape and three counts of sexual battery.
