Gas prices fall, as summer break coming to an end for many

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

If you're heading out for that last minute road trip before school starts next week, make sure to fill up before you go.

Gas prices in the Capitol City are still lower than the national average.

They're falling around $2.53 a gallon, but you can find it for as little as $2.37 if you look around.

Nationally, you can expect to pay around $2.85.

That's expensive. But remember, it was almost $3 at the beginning of the summer.
