GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to simple burglary, the 23rd Judicial District Court reports.
On May 14, Aaron Kimble, 41, pleaded guilty as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors following a series of residential burglaries in Gonzales.
Between October 23 and October 25, 2017, the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office got multiple complaints about burglaries in a neighborhood in Gonzales. During the investigation, Kimble was identified as a suspect and was found to be in possession of some of the items that were taken from the homes. Kimble was later arrested and booked.
Kimble was sentenced to 12 years in jail with credit for time served. He was sentenced by Judge Jason Verdigets.
