WANTED: Man accused of hitting twin brother with wrench

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man accused of attacking his own brother.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Wesley Hampton, 21, is wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department.

He is 5-foot-6 and weighs 111 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said he got into an argument with his twin brother over drugs on Swingalong Drive on April 20 and allegedly beat him with a large wrench.

They added the victim was able to run to a nearby house and call police, but Hampton had run off before officers arrived.

Hampton faces charges of aggravated second-degree battery and aggravated assault when he is caught.
