After beating Miss. State 8-5 in dramatic fashion, the Tigers will face the No. 1 ranked Florida Gators Wednesday afternoon.

LSU and Florida have not met since last year's matchup in the College World Series. The Gators beat the Tigers in two games to win the 2017 National Championship.

Florida ended this year losing their last four games, including a sweep by Miss. State to finish the regular season.

The No. 1 ranked Gators rely on power (2nd in the SEC), pitching (3rd in the SEC) and fielding (3rd in the SEC).
