BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Louisiana country band is getting a little national attention thanks to a big time beer company.
On Tuesday, Parish County Line signed a national deal with Anheuser Busch. The five member band, which was recently named Baton Rouge's greatest local band for the second year in a row by Dig Magazine, was able to get a sponsorship deal with Bud Light following a local deal with Mockler Beverage.
"We're always where people are having a good time, whether it's a family reunion, a festival, sporting event, and these guys are that when you see them play. They're having a good time where good things are happening and people are having fun and it just seemed like a good fit," said Timothy Mockler, chairman of Mockler Beverage.
This is a big deal for Parish County Line and they're hoping it helps them reach new markets across the south.
