BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A man was found guilty on two counts of second-degree murder in relation to a decade old case where both victims' bodies were found in a burned vehicle.
In 2010, David L. Williams was arrested in connection with a double murder from 2007.
The bodies of Jamie Williams, 25, and Drexel Swayzer, 27, were found in a burned vehicle on the levee in Port Allen. Through the course of the investigation, detectives with the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office believed that the victims were ambushed, shot inside the vehicle, then set on fire.
On Friday, May 18, 2018, Williams was found guilty on both counts of second-degree murder.
