CAPTURED: Woman who allegedly ran car into woman turns herself in

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A woman accused of using her vehicle as a weapon turned herself in Friday.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Mykia Hills, 19, was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department. According to investigators, Hills was in a parking lot on Government Street near South Foster Drive in March when she spotted a woman she knew from a prior dispute.

Detectives said Hills then intentionally hit the other woman with her vehicle and drove off. They added the vehicle was run into the victim’s leg. The extent of the victim’s injuries was not released.

After a Crime Stoppers alert, Hills turned herself in on Friday, May 18.

Hills was charged with aggravated battery.
