All Baton Rouge fire stations impacted by 2016 flood now back

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - It's been a long road to recovery for the Baton Rouge Fire Department, but now, every fire station impacted by the historic August 2016 flood is back.

The Monterrey Fire Station just re-opened this week. It took on more than a foot of water during the flood.

Firefighters have spent the week settling in and making the station a home again.

Response times for emergencies in that area were not impacted during the reconstruction process.
