LAE Offers Crisis Hotline to Education Employees

Baton Rouge, LA—The Louisiana Association of Educators (LAE) has established a toll free crisis hotline for education employees affected by Hurricane Katrina. The toll free phone number is 1-800-957-0532, and someone will be answering calls from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

"We are trying to help all displaced and affected education employees get the help and information they need to get schools and lives back to normal," says Carol Davis, President of the LAE.

If any school employees have any questions or concerns, they should call 1-800-957-0532 or visit the LAE website at www.lae.org.
