A man accused of multiple armed robberies in Louisiana and Mississippi was arrested Sunday in Monroe. Terry Madison III was captured on Sunday, May 20 around 12:30 p.m. in Monroe. He was taken into custody by the Monroe Police Department without incident, the FBI reports. He was then transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center for booking.

The FBI, in both New Orleans, Louisiana and Jackson, Mississippi, is assisting local agencies in finding the man they believe is responsible for three armed robberies in the two states.
The suspect has been identified as Terry Madison III of New Orleans.
Officials with the FBI say on April 14, Madison is believed to have robbed a Walmart in Hammond at gunpoint. Then on May 2, it's believed he robbed two locations in Mississippi: a bank inside the Walmart in Waveland and a Walmart money center in Picayune.
Warrants have been issued for Madison in Tangipahoa Parish, Waveland, and in Picayune.
The FBI is offering up to a $10,000 reward to those with information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should call the FBI New Orleans Field Office at 504-816-3000.
