(WAFB) - A company is recalling some of its deep fryers due to fire and burn hazards, according to officials.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported ALDI is recalling its Ambiano mini deep fryers. CPSC said the heating element can overheat and there have been three reports of the fryers catching fire. No injuries have been reported.
According to officials, about 35,000 units are included in the recall. They are sold in brushed stainless steel and red. They are also sold with a metal food basket. The barcode numbers are 20072483 and 20072490.
Consumers are urged to stop using the products immediately and return them to their local ALDI store for a full refund.
