BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Coffee lovers in Baton Rouge have something new to be excited about. A new product from River Road Coffee is heading to the Capital City.

Roastmaster Select Coffees of Origin is offering four new flavors, each one made with beans from a specific location.

"To put this in perspective, it compares to a single-barrel whiskey in terms of the high quality, production process, and desirability among consumers. A vast majority of 'regular' coffees out there use a blend of beans sourced from a variety of locations that are then mixed together. A sing-location 'coffee of origin' provides a much more distinct flavor and exotic flavor," said Ian Melancon, co-founder of River Road Coffees.

The four news flavors come from Kenya, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. Click here to learn more about the special flavors.

The beans are imported from the various countries and roasted on-site in small batches at River Road Coffees' facility in Baton Rouge.

"This new product is taking a step beyond the average cup of coffee. It's allowing people to taste something a little adventurous and different while also showcasing the quality that has always been a part of our foundation," said Melancon.

River Road Coffees' products are available at grocery stores throughout Baton Rouge, such as Calandro's Supermarket at Perkins, Bet-R Neighborhood Market, Robért's Fresh Market, and Calvin's Bocage Market.
