2 arrested after being caught on camera breaking into home

Bryan Buckles was taken into custody on Joyce Drive by the Louisiana State Police Task Force.

UPDATE - May 8

Booker Poe III turned himself in to authorities with the Baton Rouge Police Department on Tuesday, May 8. Bryan Buckles is still at large.

Police believe they have identified the two men captured on video breaking into a home.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Booker Poe III, 24, and Bryan Buckles, 23, are wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Poe is 5-foot-8 and weighs 200 pounds. Buckles is 5-foot-7 and weighs 168 pounds. Both men have brown eyes and black hair.

Police said the suspects were caught on a surveillance system breaking into a home on White Sands Drive in Baton Rouge on April 16.

Police added the public provided Crime Stoppers tips that led to the identifications.

Both men are facing charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Officials said Buckles also has an outstanding warrant for aggravated battery and aggravated assault from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
