BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Just in time for rising temperatures, Liberty Lagoon has reopened for the summer season.

Located in the heart of Baton Rouge on Lobdell Avenue, Liberty Lagoon is a BREC-run facility. It has all the big-ticket items such as twisting waterslides with massive drops. It also has options for those looking to lounge around and float down the lazy river.
Recently, the park added the Shockwave surf simulator.

Opening day is Saturday, April 28. The park will remain open until August 26, 2018.
The park is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., and from noon-6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
