BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A 16-year-old is accused of participating in a robbery that ended in a double shooting.
Ricardo Alberto Agular was pronounced dead on the scene. He turned 24-years-old hours the day before the shooting happened.
A second person was wounded, but is expected to survive.
Investigators say Agular was with other people outside an apartment complex located in the 1800 block of Jade Avenue. Two people walked up to the group just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 29.
The 16-year-old was identified and arrested by East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Deputies. He was booked into a juvenile detention center on Monday, April 30. The teen is charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, armed robbery, and juvenile in possession of a handgun.
