After not being able to get the offense going through the first five innings, LSU put up runs in three of the last four innings, defeating Ole Miss 5-2 Friday night.

After giving up a run in the opening, Ma'Khail Hilliard (8-3) shut down the Ole Miss bats as he held the scoreless over the next six innings, earning the win. Nick Bush came on for the final six hits and he allowed just one run as he was able to shut the door on Ole Miss. The Tigers gave up just one hit after the second inning.
Despite a solid outing from Ole Miss starter Brady Feigle, going 6.2 innings and allowing just two runs on six hits, he suffered the loss.
