CAUGHT: Woman accused of shooting 2 other women after fight

Jaretta Corey, 19, was arrested Thursday night by BRPD uniform patrol officers.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman accused of shooting two other women.

Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers reported Jarretta Corey, 19, is wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Corey is 5-foot-7 and weighs 200 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said the shooting happened on Gus Young Avenue near North 48th Street on April 24.

They added Corey got into a fight with another woman and after it ended, when the woman was walking away, Corey allegedly fired several shots, hitting the woman she was fighting with and another woman in the area.

Corey is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
