BATON ROUGE -- The LSU softball team came out on top in game two of the series against Texas A&M with a 3-2 win Saturday night in Tiger Park. With the win, LSU improves to 35-10 on the year and 9-7 in conference play, while the Aggies fall to 36-12 and 9-8 in the SEC.

Amanda Doyle led the way for the Tigers with two doubles and an RBI on the night. Sydney Springfield and Amber Serrett each had an RBI as well.

Allie Walljasper picked up her 13th win of the year, going 6 innings and striking out five. Carely Hoover came to the circle in relief in the seventh inning and got the final three outs of the game. She earned her first save of the season.

Next up, LSU will take on Texas A&M on Sunday, April 22 at 4 p.m. CT in Tiger Park.
