BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Friends and colleagues of late US District Judge James Brady Sr. honored him Friday with a ceremony in Baton Rouge.
Several former employees of Brady spoke of his compassion toward everyone he came into contact with ... even those sitting in his courtroom.
Brady was first nominated to a seat on the US District Court by former President Bill Clinton.
Karen Brady, the late judge's widow, was also at the ceremony and she said her husband was always eager to serve the community.
"He often told what a joy and a privilege it was to work with you," she said.
Brady is survived by his wife and their two children.
