BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - If you didn't make it to the new outdoor multi-sport festival in Baton Rouge on Saturday, you still have one more day to try to enjoy the events.
The inaugural Louisiana Sports Festival is being held at BREC's Farr Park and includes 10 sporting events, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Events at the festival include "Vanguard Race's OCR obstacle course events, BRAMBA Bike Time Trials, WHOA Racing Company Trail Run, Rockwall Competition, Off-Road Mountain Bike Duathlon, Great Scavenger Hunt Run and more," according to a news release.
There are also activities for kids such as inflatables, rock wall, and an obstacle course.
RV and primitive camping are available on-site at BREC's Farr Park.

The organizer of the festival said that as a Baton Rouge resident, it was time to bring more outdoor sports to people and get them active.
"Giving them fun things, that can be challenging and can be just out of fun, is important to me," said David Poleto, director of Louisiana Sports Festival.
It costs $15 per child and a discount for siblings.
