NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Offensive Rookie of the Year decided to take a break from Airheads and switched to a different treat.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara surprised a few Girl Scouts in New Orleans Troop 41354 last weekend when he stopped by their neighborhood Cookie stand to buy a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies, according to a release sent by The Girl Scouts.

It is unclear how many boxes or which cookies he bought, but we assume by the smiles on the girl's faces that he left with enough to share with the team.

The Girl Scout Cookie Sale ends March 11.

The students say fully funding TOPS and higher education is about more than a simple yes or no vote from lawmakers.
