Be on the lookout for an iconic tuba.

Ben Jaffe, the creative director of Preservation Hall and tuba player for the band, announced on Facebook his instrument was stolen Saturday.

“Sadly and unfortunately the signature Preservation Hall sousaphone Tuba went missing following our performance Saturday night at New Orleans Airlift,” Jaffe wrote.

He purchased the tuba after Hurricane Katrina to replace the instrument he lost in the storm.

Preservation Hall is offering a reward for its return. Call 504-418-0367 if you have any information regarding its whereabouts.
