The Pelicans new Big 3 had too much motor in the motor city tonight as New Orleans ran past Detroit, 118-103. Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday and Nikola Mirotic combined to score 80 points as the Pels not only swept the season series, but beat the Pistons for the eleventh time in the last 12 meetings.

The win helped the Pels close out their three-game road trip with back-to-back wins and got them to the 30-win mark on the season.

With the LA Clippers beating Brooklyn, the Pelicans had to win to remain in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference standings.

Next up for the Pels, the Lakers, as they'll visit the Crescent City Wednesday night.
