It’s a warm, very steamy summer morning, with temperatures in the upper 70°s and "feeling like" the lower 80°s even during the pre-dawn hours. Otherwise, skies are partly cloudy Monday morning, but the clouds will increase in the afternoon. The forecast is calling for a 40 percent coverage of showers and storms, with a high of 93° and a "heat index" of at least 105°.

During the overnight hours, a few lingering showers will be possible, with a low in the upper 70°s. Tuesday, there will be a 50 percent chance of showers and storms and it will be another hot one, with a high of 92°.

Please remember to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you have to work outdoors for an extended period of time. Also, don't forget to "look before you lock" for pets and kids potentially in the backseat.
