The selections for the 2018 Pro Bowl were announced Tuesday night and the list of NFC participants includes six New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Drew Brees, defensive end Cameron Jordan, receiver Michael Thomas, cornerback Marshon Lattimore and running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara have been named to the team.

In Brees' 17-year NFL career, this is his 11th Pro Bowl selection. He has started every regular season game thus far this year and has 3,850 yards and 21 touchdowns on 343-of-478 passing. Brees is also first in the league in completion percentage and second in completions.

Ingram's selection is his second in his seven-year career. The former Heisman Trophy winner and 2011 first-round pick of the Saints has compiled 1,420 yards from scrimmage through the first 14 games, good enough for fifth in the NFL and second in the NFC.

Jordan, who the Saints picked four selections before Ingram in the 2011 draft, has been elected to his third Pro Bowl, which is the most in franchise history for a defensive end. He has 55 tackles (41 solo), 14 tackles for loss, ten sacks, one interception returned for a touchdown and two forced fumbles.

Second-year pro Michael Thomas becomes the first Saints wide receiver to be selected to the Pro Bowl since 2004 when Joe Horn was picked. Thomas currently ranks third in the NFL in receiving. He has tallied 94 catches for 1,085 yards and five touchdowns.

Rookies Marshon Lattimore and Alvin Kamara join a short list of former Saints who were selected to the Pro Bowl in their rookie season. The list consists of kicker Tom Dempsey (1969), running back George Rogers (1981), punter Brian Hansen (1984), running back Reuben Mayes (1986) and special teamer Tyrone Hughes (1993).

Lattimore, who was the 11th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, has made 11 starts and recorded 44 tackles (36 solo), a team-high four interceptions (one returned for a score), a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Kamara was a third round pick by the Saints and has 1,336 yards from scrimmage. His 12 touchdowns leads the team and puts him in a tie for second in the league. He also leads the league in yards per carry (6.6).

Following Sunday's game against the Jets, the Saints are the only team with three players who have over 1,000 yards from scrimmage as Ingram, Kamara and Thomas have each accomplished that feat.

The Pro Bowl will take place Sunday Jan. 28 2018 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
